Provider Agreements
Healthcare administrators certainly “live in interesting times.” Hardly a day goes by that new issues about consents, governmental regulations changes or patient privacy issues do not crop up. Whether or not a new payor contract is a good deal may be based on what other requirements are be buried in the contract. An auto renewal may seem like administrative streamlining, but is very unpleasant when the relationship with a hospital service provider goes sour. The requirement for governmental audits and responsibilities for protection of patient identifying information are also growing issues.
